May 9, 2017 - Elixir Extrusions, a manufacturer of custom aluminum extrusions and fabricated parts, will expand its operations in Douglas-Coffee County, Georgia. This expansion will create 100 new jobs, and represents an investment of more than $8 million into the facility.

Metal shop to relocate and expand in Wisconsin

May 9, 2017 - Prestige Metal Products will relocate to an 85,630-square-foot building in Bristol, Wisconsin, to house its metal fabrication operations and company headquarters. The $2.5 million investment will bring 46 jobs to the area, which were in Antioch, Illinois.

SteelCoast completes purchase to save ship recycling and scrap processing complex

May 2, 2017 - Hilco Redevelopment Partners announced today that they completed a transaction to purchase the assets of one of the largest and busiest ship recycling and scrap processing companies in the world. The new joint venture company will be opened under the name SteelCoast with a new management and operations team to begin running the business immediately. SteelCoast’s headquarters are in Brownsville, Texas.
