Five decades ago, Ernie Samuel, president of Samuel, Son & Co., Limited, recognized that Samuel required an in-house trucking company to effectively and efficiently handle the growing volume of metal processing. As such, just before New Year’s Eve 1964, Kim-Tam Trucking was created as an independent trucking affiliate of Samuel, Son & Co., Limited. The name was derived from the names of his two daughters Kimberly and Tammy.
Wise Metals Group LLC today announced the closing of its new senior secured notes and a new working capital revolver. The Company’s private offering of $650 million 8.75% senior secured notes due 2018 are secured by certain of its assets. Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Wells Fargo Securities and Houlihan Lokey were underwriters of the Notes.
