August 2, 2016 - Union Partners I LLC of Oak Brook, Illinois, announced that it has acquired Berg Steel Corp. effective 8/1/2016. Union Partners purchased the existing Royal Oak, Michigan, steel service center and there will be no interruption in service to Berg Steel's customers. Berg Steel joins Union Partners' group of best-in-class steel service centers, including Lee Steel Holdings LLC, which has several facilities across Michigan.
