December 16, 2015 - Damon Wos, former manager of inside sales/marketing/product control and pricing for Central Steel & Wire Co., Chicago, joined Charter Steel as vice president-sales and member of the executive team.

December 16, 2015 - Formtek Group promoted Mike Roy (pictured) to Southeastern regional sales manager, to supervise sales of Formtek coil metal processing, flexible fabrication and roll forming divisions.

December 2, 2015 - Todd Zyra was elected CEO and Klein’s board also promoted Michelle Westrich to CFO.

December 2, 2015 - Joseph R. Scherrbaum Jr., U.S. Steel Corp.’s vice president of industrial solutions, is retiring at year end following a 36-year career with the company.

November 23, 2015 - Mr. Turbiville joins American Roller after serving five years as EVP/CFO of related entities Odyne Systems and Dueco/UELC, located in Waukesha Wis. The prior ten years, David was at Trudell Trailers in Green Bay, Wis., where he served as President for eight years following two years as CFO.

November 17, 2015 - Accuride Corp. has three new people in top management posts. Scott D. Hazlett was named president of the global Wheels business unit, Gregory A. Risch promoted to President, Gunite business unit, and Michael A. Hajost was appointed senior vice president and CFO.

November 12, 2015 - Norsk Titanium AS, which manufactures aerospace-grade titanium components using a patented Rapid Plasma Deposition (RPD) process, appointed three seasoned aviation and defense industry executives to vice presidents.

November 4, 2015 - MetoKote Corp. has appointed Jon Barrett (right) to global vice president and chief operating officer (COO) and John Shaffer (left) as global vice president of sales. Barrett has been with MetoKote since 1983, and  Shaffer joined the company in 2014.

October 30, 2015 - Don McMillan and Tony Salvado now fill these roles to enhance the sales, service and support for the company’s milling, EDM and laser texturing solutions.

October 22, 2015 - Delaware Steel Co., Pa., announces the addition of Charles McDaniels, Connie Reahm and Howard Rekoon to their sales team.

October 21, 2015 - Reliance Steel & Aluminum Co. announced today that it has increased the size of its Board of Directors from nine to ten members and appointed Robert A. McEvoy, 49, to serve as an independent director.  Mr. McEvoy's term took effect on October 20, 2015 and will expire at the 2016 Annual Meeting of Stockholders.

October 19, 2015 - Pohl assumes the CFO duties from Steve Fisher who was promoted to Chief Executive Officer in August.

October 15, 2015 - Most recently Donovan served as the company’s district sales manager in Charlotte, North Carolina. He will focus his efforts on growing overall business, managing the insulated metal panel product offerings and stewarding new product development.

October 8, 2015 - Bushwick Metals is pleased to welcome Vernon Abel as the new company president, effective September 15. Abel has over 25 years of experience in the steel industry at both the distribution and mill level, along with expertise in executive strategic planning, profit and loss management, operations, purchasing, sales and marketing.

October 6, 2015 - In his new role Bush will continue to serve select OEM accounts across the Midwest while leading Esmark Inc.’s corporate efforts to expand its national accounts footprint across sectors including automotive, building/construction, appliances, metals fabrication and the storage/shelving industries. He will also work in collaboration with the company’s Esmark Industrial Group subsidiary in building its national account base.

September 30, 2015 - In his new position, Welker will be the company’s chief contact for contractor and distributor sales of SAF Aluminum Extrusions and Sheet, in addition to anodizing and paint finishing orders, and metal fabrication services.

September 29, 2015 - Electralloy has announced the retirement of Tom Atkinson, district sales manager after 43 years of service since joining the company as field salesman. Atkinson’s position will be filled by Stelios Trikoulis, who will serve Electralloy as sales manager for Northeastern US and Eastern Canada.

September 28, 2015 - Pioneer Steel Corp., a Detroit based service center, has named Craig Elliott as sales manager for the Detroit division. Pioneer has locations in Detroit, Nashville, Tenn., and a die set division in Grand Rapids, Mich.

September 24, 2015 - MC Machinery Systems Inc. announces the hire of Kevin Piedimonte for the position of Northeast Regional Sales Manager, Machining. He will be overseeing sales of MC Machinery’s broad offering of milling, turning and EDM machinery in the region.

September 10, 2015 - Brown Gibbons Lang & Company is pleased to announce the addition of Vincent J. Pappalardo as managing director. He will lead BGL's Metals Industry practice and brings nearly 20 years of investment banking experience to the firm.

September 9, 2015 - Alex Gorosito to direct machine sales in Texas. Appointment continues company’s direct sales team expansion.

September 9, 2015 - Tubelite Inc. has named David Fye as a client development manager serving Houston. He reports to Tubelite’s regional sales manager, Terry Robinholt. They work closely with glazing contractors and architectural teams across the region to provide assistance with storefront, curtainwall, entrances and daylight control systems.

September 9, 2015 - Chris is a graduate of DePaul University where he received a B.S. in Information Systems. In addition, Chris has successfully completed the MSCI’s Strategic Metals Management Program at Washington University in St. Louis.

September 3, 2015 - The International Titanium Association has selected Walter E. Herman as the recipient of its prestigious 2015 Lifetime Achievement Award, honoring his many accomplishments during a distinguished 60-year career in the titanium industry.
