February 2011 - Pennsylvania Steel Co. Inc., Bensalem, Pa., purchased a crane-served 71,000-square-foot building in Bethlehem, Pa., which will be the company’s new home for the Bethlehem Aluminum Division. The larger facility will allow the aluminum division to stock the company’s complete range of carbon, aluminum and stainless products.
In addition, the company has added three Amada saws. A CM100 CNC cut-off saw and PC Saw 330 pulse saw were installed at the Bensalem location, and a second PC Saw 330 was installed at the York, Pa., warehouse. The saws will enable high-volume, close-tolerance production cutting of bars and tubes.
