Coherent launches laser machining center
March 2011 - The MetaBeam laser machining center integrates the machine frame, CNC controller, laser, beam-delivery system, drive system and laser cutting head into one structure with a standard table size of 4 ft. by 4 ft. and an optional size of 4 ft. by 8 ft. It also offers a cutting table design that minimizes parts tip-up. A magnetic breakaway system protects the cutting head from damage.
