Reliance acquires Lampros Steel
March 2011 - Reliance Steel & Aluminum Co., Los Angeles, acquired the outstanding capital stock of Lampros Steel Inc., Portland, Ore., and a related interest in Lampros Steel Plate Distribution LLC, which owns a 50 percent interest in LSI Plate. Lampros will operate as a subsidiary of American Metals Corp., a subsidiary of Reliance Steel. Lampros’ current management will remain in place.
