Evraz invests in its facilities

April 2011 - Evraz Inc. NA, Portland, Ore., part of the Evraz Group S.A., has announced capital investments at two of its Canadian oil country tubular goods pipe-making facilities. The most significant investment will be the installation of a premium threading production line at the Evraz Red Deer, Alberta, pipe mill. The company also is installing new tooling in Red Deer. It is planning to expand its heat treating and inspection capabilities at its Calgary, Alberta, pipe mill. The improvements are intended to position Evraz for further growth in the energy tubular product markets.
