May 2011 - Since ThyssenKrupp Steel USA, Calvert, Ala., produced its first coated prime coil on hot dip galvanized line No. 1 on March 31, the location has been operating the line steadily. When the three remaining hot dip galvanizing lines begin production later this year, the facility will be fully operational. It will provide a range of carbon steel products including hot-rolled bands, pickled coils, full-finished cold rolled as well as galvanized, galvannealed, aluminized and Galvalume products.
