October 2011 - Niles Expanded Metals & Plastics, Niles, Ohio, opened Niles Expanded Technologies, a research, development and expanded mesh manufacturing facility. The company expanded its building by 7,000 square feet to accommodate the facility and remodeled 20,000 square feet of existing warehouse space into manufacturing space. The expansion added three production lines, slitting machines and specialized toll-processing equipment.
