January 2012 - This clamshell straightener has an open-head design that allows the top rollers to rise up and separate from the bottom rollers to provide access for inspection and cleaning of the rolls. To raise the head, users push a button that activates a hydraulic cylinder. The clamshell straightener is applicable to any size Coe straightener.
