February 2012 - In December 2011, Sapa Extrusions North America, Rosemont, Ill., hosted Heidi Brock, president of the Aluminum Association, for a tour of Sapa’s Cressona, Pa., operations. The tour facilitated a dialogue about the best practices for promoting aluminum. Brock received a behind-the-scenes look at the aluminum extrusion process, demonstrating how aluminum is brought into the 100-acre facility and transformed into thousands of products each day.
