July 2012 - The 8000 series five-axis router is used best for high-speed, heavy-duty routing of nonferrous metals. The end of the Z axis has a 440-degree rotational axis and 150-degree swing axis that can be locked in the vertical position to run the router as a standard three-axis machine. The router is useful for machining spiral staircase components, for example.
