September 2012 - MRC Global Inc., Houston, acquired Chaparral Supply LLC, Cherokee, Okla., from its parent company SandRidge Energy Inc. MRC plans to merge Chaparral’s employees, inventories and assets with MRC’s Alva, Okla., service center. MRC’s purchase includes an agreement by which MRC will serve as the primary pipe, valve and fitting product and oilfield supply distributor to SandRidge’s operations in Oklahoma and Kansas.
