November 2012 - Simonds International, Fitchburg, Mass., purchased Cal Saw Canada’s wide band saw manufacturing and circular saw finishing assets. Simonds intends to better serve customers in the Western Canadian sawmill market by acquiring the Langley, British Columbia-based operation. The existing California Saw and Knife Works in San Francisco will continue to serve the Canadian market.
