A key feature of the upgraded sites is real-time order tracking, which provides status updates on everything from order processing to shipping. Customers can simply register for an account via the website homepage to access this useful feature.
Enhancements in the Contact Us section of the sites include a map of sales areas for each of the company’s branches along with contact information. Maps of the sales and warehouse physical locations are also provided for customer convenience. The Products section features product literature, technical data and size charts.
Free apps are also being developed for both Marmon/Keystone Canada and Specialty Steels that will provide mobile access to pipe charts, weight and measurement specifications, and other technical data. The apps will be available via the website homepages in the coming weeks. "Both the websites and apps were designed to make the ordering process even more convenient for our customers," says Hunt.
