Fiber laser line lowers maintenance costs

March 2013 - The new generation of kilowatt class low-mode Ytterbium fiber lasers offers lower maintenance, operating expenses and costs per watt. Other improvements include higher power diode modules, a new fiber block design with increased damage power threshold and a more efficient modular digital power supply. In addition, new digital laser diode current drivers increase control flexibility, stability and precision, while hermetically sealed multichannel beam switches enhance reliability.
