May 2013 - The new metals service center, which officially opened for business on May 6, is conveniently located in Mount Juliet, Tennessee, near Interstate 40 and just 25 miles east of downtown Nashville.
Product offerings include aluminum and stainless pipe and tubing, along with cold drawn seamless, cold rolled electric weld, drawn over mandrel and hot rolled seamless steel tubing. The 43,000 square-foot facility houses a team of four employees who operate two 10-ton overhead cranes and two fully-automated Amada band saws with a 21" OD capacity.
The Nashville location serves as a satellite location of Marmon/Keystone’s Birmingham, Alabama branch. Birmingham branch manager Mike Gregory is overseeing the Nashville operation.
“Marmon/Keystone is increasing its presence in the Southern U.S. region to better meet the needs of our existing customer base in Central and Western Tennessee, Eastern Arkansas, Southwestern Kentucky and Northwestern Mississippi,” Gregory says. “We also look forward to establishing new business relationships in the area.”
Main customers in the Nashville service area include the agriculture, automotive, railroad and paper industries, along with machine and fabrication shops.
