Marmon/Keystone breaks ground on new facility

June 2013 - A groundbreaking ceremony was recently held for Marmon/Keystone’s new McConnellsburg, Pennsylvania metals service center building, which will be located at 196 Secrist Lane. The new facility is expected to be fully operational by September 2013.

The current McConnellsburg service center, established in 2004, operates out of leased warehouse space at nearby 300 Success Drive.

"The new facility will be 25 percent larger than our current space, which will allow us to handle material in a more efficient manner,” says Lou Grenci, VP Northeastern region. “The extra space will also provide the opportunity to increase our capabilities, enabling us to take on additional business.”

Value added manager Tim Wamba directly oversees the McConnellsburg facility, while Grenci is responsible for overall operations. Palmer Construction Co. of McConnellsburg is handling the construction of the new building.
