New Behringer Saws distributor in southern US

June 2013 - Capital Machine Technologies, one of the South's leading distributors of fabrication equipment and robotic welding machinery, is now an authorized distributor of Behringer Saws. For more than thirty years, Capital has represented a select group of world-class machine tool builders providing sales, support and service throughout Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi, Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia and Florida.

"Capital Machine serves a broad range of customers and industries with their primary focus being in the metalworking industry," said Joe Suydam, Behringer Saws inside sales engineer. Suydam said this fact made Capital a particularly good match for Behringer. "It's such a perfect fit for us," he said. "Behringer has been expanding into new markets and Capital already has an established presence in many of the same markets, as well as in some new ones." Suydam named a number of industries in which Capital is active including aerospace, energy, transportation, medical equipment and construction.

Suydam said that since 1991, when Capital's current management team was set in place, the company has maintained steady growth creating a widespread and loyal customer base. "We see Capital as a natural extension of Behringer's commitment to provide our customers with the teamwork and experienced technical support they need to maximize the productivity and cost-effectiveness of their Behringer investment."

With 20+ years of experience in bandsaws and other types of metal cutting saws, Capital specializes in machinery for metal fabricating and robotic welding equipment. Capital represents about 15 manufacturers from around the world including North America, Asia and Europe. The addition of the Behringer line of bandsawing machines, circular cold saws and structural fabricating equipment adds new depth and dimension to an already impressive product offering which includes technologies such as sawing, shearing, punching, bending, laser cutting, thermal cutting, water jet cutting, rolling, finishing, welding and inspection.

Capital has three technology centers located in Tampa (FL), Dallas (TX) and Atlanta (GA). These facilities are equipped with a wide range of fully operational machines providing customers and prospects with a hands-on opportunity to evaluate the equipment while it is working. The technology centers are manned with what is touted to be the largest staff of service engineers in the industry. These are factory trained professionals experienced in installation, operation, training, maintenance and service.

Suydam said the Behringer Saws line of automated and semi-automated metal cutting machinery is expected to enhance Capital’s rapid growth rate. "They can really support customers," said Suydam, "which is evidenced by their 20-year growth trend. Since customer support is a huge part of Behringer's customer partnering strategy, we have great expectations for this partnership in terms of providing unmatched product and knowledgeable tech support to customers in the metalworking business."
