Koike Aronson sponsors diabetes event

July 2013 - Koike Aronson, Inc./Ransome, a leading manufacturer of metal cutting and positioning equipment for the metalworking industry, sponsored the recent “Steaming Toward a Cure for Diabetes,” which benefited the American Diabetes Association’s Step Out: Walk to Stop Diabetes campaign of Western New York. The event took place on July 13 when a steam train of the Arcade & Attica Railroad took passengers on an excursion from Arcade, NY, Koike’s American headquarters. The money that Koike helped raise benefits the American Diabetes Association, which funds research of improved treatment of diabetes and provides resources to those who have the disease. “Millions of Americans have diabetes, including many here in Western New York,” said Jerry Leary, CEO and President of Koike. “We’re glad to do our part to find better treatments for them.”
