September 2013 - The RDI Group announced today that Gregg Menzies, chief financial officer, has been awarded 2013 CFO of the Year by the Daily Herald Business Ledger. This annual award honors financial executives who are vital to their business operations and provide effective and strategic leadership in the following areas: overall growth, ethical standards and financial reporting.
In addition to overseeing RDI’s accounting practices, Menzies has led strategic initiatives which have strengthened RDI’s worldwide business success since 1985. Menzies’ uncompromising integrity coupled with his significant experience in handling complex financial transactions has been instrumental in RDI’s global revenue growth. Since 2010, RDI has expanded its European business through key acquisitions which has increased total revenue by 150 percent. Through Menzies’ strategic vision and leadership, RDI seamlessly integrated those firms into one organization. Furthermore, Menzies and his team have led efforts to upgrade and expand the workflow documentation management system that now runs many of the RDI’s processes.
“We are pleased to spotlight Gregg’s accomplishments while highlighting RDI’s best accounting practices,” said Fred Kestler, president. “This achievement helps connect financial executives in a forum designed to inspire and advance the community.”
“It is an honor to be recognized by the Daily Herald as a 2013 CFO of the Year recipient,” Menzies said. “I share this honor with the rest of my team. They are integral in providing the best accounting solutions and tools to grow our business.”
