Future Metals plans Dayton, Ohio metals service center

November 2013 - Future Metals has announced their intent to open a new metals service center in the Midwest United States. The new facility, to be located in Dayton, Ohio, will be the company's sixth location in North America and ninth location worldwide. The 28,500-square-foot facility is scheduled to begin operations in January 2014.

Mark G. Borland, president of Future Metals, remarked, "Ohio is at the center of a significant and expanding aerospace manufacturing and maintenance hub in North America. Dayton offers close proximity to many of our customers and supply chain partners in the Midwest.” Borland cited Ohio's borders with Michigan, Pennsylvania and Indiana as a key factor in determining the location. "We have core customers in the region who are expanding to meet the projected growth in the aerospace industry. Future Metals looks forward to supporting them by providing more efficient supply chain solutions for their aerospace metals requirements."
