March 2014 - Centria is pleased to announce the promotion of Scott Bacon (pictured) to the position of MetalWrap business unit manager. In his new role, Bacon will drive the creation and development of a standalone business unit within Centria, focusing on growing additional distribution channels for the MetalWrap Series insulated composite backup panel wall system. Bacon’s efforts will be focused on growing greater market acceptance of insulated composite backup panel technology for use behind nearly any exterior cladding material.
“Scott has been an invaluable asset to Centria Architectural Systems over the past two years,” said Rick Mowrey, director of marketing and business development. “His financial acumen and sales and marketing management experience make him the ideal person to lead Centria and the MetalWrap Series business unit in a new direction.”
Bacon joined Centria in 2012 and has been responsible for promoting and managing the company’s MetalWrap™ Series ICBP system, overseeing both tactical and strategic planning of the product line. Prior to joining Centria, Bacon served as director of sales and marketing at Fabral and global marketing manager at Reynolds Metals Company. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Penn State University, and his Master of Business Administration degree in Marketing from St. Joseph’s University.
