March 2014 - Centria Coating Services is excited to announce that Jim Connelly will assume the newly created position of director of continuous improvement and supplier relations for the CCS organization. Jim's focus in this new role will be multi-faceted and critical to our continued success.
Bringing years of experience and operating knowledge, Jim will provide leadership to our on-going Continuous Improvement efforts internally at both plants. Further expanding our "Bridge the Gap" initiatives, Jim will oversee the transferring of best practices between Cambridge & Ambridge, lead several important Kaizen and 5S activities at both facilities, and champion our CapEx process as we continue to evaluate opportunities to invest future capital into our business.
Additionally, Jim will lead a refocused process to expand our partnership initiatives with all of the critical CCS suppliers. This includes establishing a more structured quarterly review process with paint manufacturers, treatment suppliers, and metal producers. Jim will also oversee and coordinate purchasing of factory supplies and utilities between Cambridge & Ambridge.
