Alro Steel Corp. announces several management changes

March 2014 - Alro Steel Corp. is pleased to announce several management changes. David Schmidt has been named president and COO as of January 1, 2014. Schmidt is in his 25th year with Alro and has held many positions including sales, general manager, vice president of corporate purchasing, and since 2004, executive vice president.

Mark Alyea, former president and COO, will assume the role of president emeritus. Alyea joined Alro in 1981, has been president since 1988 and has contributed substantially to Alro's growth and success.

Steve Laten has been named executive vice president in addition to his current role of CFO. Laten has been with Alro as CFO since 1997. Randy Glick, formerly vice president of operations, has been named senior vice president. Glick has held many different roles with Alro since 1981.

Al Glick will remain as chairman and CEO.
