Wise Metals Group announces new president/COO

March 2014 - Oberholzer has served as executive vice president/COO since 2010, reporting directly to chairman and CEO, David D’Addario. His responsibilities include operational oversight of all divisions of Wise Metals Group. Since Oberholzer joined Wise in 2010, Wise has undertaken major capital growth projects, including the construction of an expanded aluminum can recycling facility and a major expansion of a cold mill. Oberholzer has also overseen the execution of new contracts with Wise’s can sheet customers, a new five year agreement with Wise’s labor unions, and the negotiation of a memorandum of understanding with Toyota Tsusho for a potential joint venture to produce auto body sheet.

“Wes’ leadership has enabled Wise to reach new levels of productivity, efficiency and profitability, while maintaining a safety record among the very highest in the industry. Without Wes’ leadership, the accomplishments would not have been possible” said David D’Addario, chairman and CEO.
