Steel Manager III from 4GL Solutions installed at Nivert Metal Supply

February 14, 2017 - 4GL Solutions announced today the installation of their leading ERP metal specific software Steel Manager III at Nivert Metal Supply, Inc. in Throop, Pa. Commenting on the agreement, George Walton, President of 4GL Solutions said, “We are proud to say that after an extensive review of ERP software, Nivert Metal Supply has chosen 4GL Solutions as their ERP software partner. Nivert offers their customers a vast array of products and value-added services and were searching for a metal specific ERP software system that was highly integrated and automated to increase the efficiency and productivity of both their sales force and shop staff. Steel Manager III’s complete control over inventory, including drops, and the many automated features within Steel Manager III that allows their staff to focus on what’s important, selling and servicing their customers, were a few of the many reasons SM3 was their software of choice”.

Louis Nivert, President of Nivert Metal Supply said they moved to the new operating system to modernize and steam-line both warehouse and back office operations. “This system provides the necessary functionality to help our business grow for the next generation.  It allows us to give customers more detailed information more quickly and efficiently while ensuring we have state of the art accounting and recording systems in place. It takes our business and quality assurance practices to the next level,” Mr. Nivert said.

In addition to Steel Manager III (SM3) Nivert also installed SM3’s MTR Automation Module, making the retrieval and electronic delivery of Material Test Reports effortless, the Barcoding module which allows the use of bar code scanners to enter the details of inventory, orders, picking slips etc. into SM3, dramatically increasing the speed in which this information is captured as well as the Linear Nesting module will automatically present the long product inventory that will satisfy the order, at either the quote or sales order stage, while minimizing waste and maximizing yield.
