CENTRIA District Sales Manager honored

centria-3-16-17.jpgMarch 16, 2017 - CENTRIA is proud to announce that District Sales Manager Brandon Kinsey (pictured), greater Detroit area, was the recipient of a pair of awards in 2016, including the Honorary Affiliate award by the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Michigan and the Chairman’s Annual Sales Award from CENTRIA’s parent company, NCI Building Systems, Inc.

One of the highest tributes the AIA can bestow on a person outside the industry of architecture, the Honorary Affiliate award recognizes distinguished service to the profession or to the architectural arts and sciences. A longtime member of AIA Michigan, Kinsey accepted the award at the organization’s Design and Honor Awards banquet in June, 2016 at the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, Mich.

Kinsey serves on the Public Awareness and Mid-Summer Conference committees with AIA Michigan. Other professional industry affiliations include the AIA Michigan Board of Directors and trustee of the Michigan Architectural Foundation.

The Chairman’s Annual Sales Award recognizes one individual in each of NCI Building Systems, Inc.’s family of brands and companies for outstanding sales efforts and growth within the fiscal year of 2016. The awards were announced in March of 2017.

As CENTRIA’s District Sales Manager in the greater Detroit area, Kinsey oversees sales of projects from design through construction. He also manages customer relations with five valued members of CENTRIA’s elite Dealer Network, and develops new relationships with prospective distribution partners. An 18-year veteran with CENTRIA, Kinsey’s total sales have exceeded $100 million. He has also served as a member of the company’s insulated metal panel (IMP) product development team, as well as the sales team advisory committee.

Kinsey earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management from Eastern Michigan University. He currently resides in Dundee, Mich. with his family: wife, Julie, and children, Nora and Carson.
