Airbus awards Flow manufacturing contract

July 2008 - Flow International Corp., Kent, Wash., was awarded a multimillion dollar contract by Airbus, Herndon, Va., to manufacture and install multiple Composite Machining Center waterjet and routing machine tool systems over an 18- to 24-month period. The two companies have a history of partnership, and Airbus awarded Flow the contract based on the company's leadership in waterjet cutting systems for major composites programs.
