Airbus, Flow host partnership event

November 2008 - Flow International Corp., Kent, Wash., and Airbus, Toulouse, France, hosted a reception in recognition of their recently announced partnership, in which Airbus awarded Flow a $30 million contract for the production of waterjet machines to be used in the manufacturing of the new Airbus A350 XWB. Flow's CMC waterjet systems will be used in all Airbus plants throughout Europe to cut and trim the wings, fuselage, wing spars, keel beam and other parts on the wide-body family of planes.
