Timken increases hot-rolled tube capabilities

February 2009 - The Timken Co., Canton, Ohio, increased its hot-rolled carbon and alloy steel tube manufacturing capabilities to meet demand from customers in the industrial, energy and bearing markets. It now produces tubing up to 13 inches OD. The tubes are typically used to produce parts for pulleys, gears, bearings and cylinders.
