March 2009 - Ohio Gratings Inc., Canton, Ohio, provided its galvanized PressLock Grille product for a parking deck project at the intersection of Blackhawk and Halsted streets in Chicago. The grille creates a mesh that acts as part of the building's "skin," and structural steel supports were added around the structure for continuous panel alignment. Smaller panels were also used to form a canopy that extends over the top of the deck, and all materials were bolted into place through welded anchor plates and steel structural supports.
