Forging Industry Association releases 2008 sales figures

May 2009 - The Forging Industry Association released finalized 2008 sales figures of metal forgings produced by custom forging plants in North America. Total industry shipments reached $6.08 billion for impression dies, a record $2.03 billion for open dies and $1.78 billion for seamless rolled rings. Complete data is available at the FIA Web site.
