Trumpf announces preliminary figures for 2008-2009 fiscal year

August 2009 - The Trumpf Group estimates its profits in the tens of millions of euros, despite a drop in demand during the 2008-2009 fiscal year. Sales declined by 23 percent to 1.66 billion euros. Company officials say Trumpf reacted quickly to the global economic crisis, reduced its costs and thus achieved an acceptable income before taxes during the fiscal year.
