Arconic brings advanced stretcher online

April 11, 2017 - The Stretcher produces highly-differentiated aerospace and industrial plate. The investment in the Stretcher is backed by customer contracts, including one with Airbus, valued at approximately $1 billion. The project was completed on time with an investment of approximately $150 million, approximately $40 million under budget.

Norsk Titanium to deliver FAA-approved, 3D printed structural titanium components to Boeing

April 10, 2017 - Norsk Titanium AS, the Oslo-based supplier of additive-manufactured, structural titanium components, has received a production purchase order for 3D-printed structural titanium components from Boeing. Toyota announces $1.33 billion investment in Kentucky plant

April 10, 2017 - A $1.33 billion investment will make Toyota Motor Manufacturing Kentucky Inc. (TMMK) the first plant in North America to begin producing vehicles using Toyota New Global Architecture. The Camry, starting with the 2018 model year, will become the first Toyota vehicle made in the U.S. to fully incorporate the new vehicle development and production technology.
