April 4, 2017 - Southwest Steel Coil has installed a precision Braner/Loopco Cut-to-Length/Multi-Blanker in its newly constructed coil processing and distribution plant in Mission, Texas. The line, equipped with PVC laminating and paper interleaving capabilities, has the ability to produce coated carbon steel, aluminum, and stainless cut-to-length and side-trimmed sheet and multi-blanks in gauges from .020 in. through .130 in. The CTL/multi-blanker requires no looping pits and no concrete foundations for installation and operation. The new line joins a high-performance Braner/Loopco Triple Turret Head Slitting and Automatic Packaging Line in Southwest Steel Coil’s Mission, Texas, plant.
