Bill Johnson (R-OH) and Rep. Terri Sewell (D-AL), members of the Congressional Steel Caucus, for their introduction of the “Leveling the Playing Field 2.0 Act.”
Reps. Johnson and Sewell received their awards in recognition of their continuous support of the American steel industry, both in their home states and across the nation. The awards were presented on Capitol Hill today by Kevin Dempsey, president and CEO of AISI.
“I am honored to showcase the continued, exemplary leadership demonstrated by Reps. Johnson and Sewell. They have consistently championed the American steel industry, representing the tireless dedication of men and women working in steel mills nationwide. We appreciate their commitment to addressing unfair foreign trade and leveling the playing field for the American steel industry and our workers. This recognition is well-deserved and a testament to their persistent efforts,” said Dempsey.
