Demand is growing for resilient materials - including for the defense industry – along with reliable producers and new supply chains. This is where wire and Tube, as powerful industry platforms, proved to be timely. The defense sector is gaining importance and new visitor groups came to the exhibition stands to find concrete solutions to meet the high demands on materials and quality. A dynamic supporting program, including several premieres, further underscored the trade show’s relevance. The trade fairs as vibrant industry events: tradition and the future go hand in hand in Düsseldorf. With 2,600 exhibitors from 65 countries, the wire and Tube 2026 demonstrated their international appeal and clear leadership position.
The trade fairs showcased the entire value chain on some 119,000 square meters of exhibit space in 16 exhibition halls. The focus was on the future: artificial intelligence, robotics, renewable energies and the energy transition were not just buzzwords but lived reality.
Trade visitors from 130 countries traveled to Düsseldorf for the trade fairs, with both long-established and entirely new target groups represented in equal numbers. What remains is more than just a successful trade fair event; it is a feeling: this is where the future is taking shape.
