August 2011- Scotchman’s 1016 band saw series, including the FH1016 fixed head and SH1016 swing head, have improved features, such as radius band blade doors for greater strength, built-in forklift slots, standard band door interlocks and a larger coolant capacity and chip removal. The 1016 line’s capacities are 10 in. by 16 in. at 90 degrees and 10 in. by 10 3⁄4 in. at 45 degrees. The series can run at speeds ranging from 105 fpm to 275 fpm.
