August 2013 - The TruLaser 8000 cuts sheet metal up to 52 ft. long with format sizes ranging from 8 ft. by 20 ft. to 8 ft. by 52 ft. The large-format machine provides a 0.2 in. increase in the maximum thickness for mild and stainless steel and can process material up to one inch, using a 6-kW laser. Options include specially developed cutting tables that adjust to material quality and a cooling function that uses water to remove excess heat while cutting.
