January 2014 - Marketing, along with human resources and IT at Kloeckner Metals Corp., have been working hard to deliver a greatly improved and enhanced online presence that better reflects our brand and promotes our product/service offerings. In addition to a new, dynamic and user-friendly design the website is chock full of the latest information about our products, services and locations.

Some of the improvements include:

1. Google map integration to allow for easier search of our locations, including the ability to isolate our locations by business group.
2. Individual branch pages. The updated Branch Overview pages contain information about our latest investments in value-added equipment to increase our processing footprint for our customers. Each branch page will now be able to include specific local information, photos, and news items.
3. A new and improved Careers section
4. Built through a full Content Management System, allows us full control to update, maintain and change the website on an ongoing basis, as our business evolves.
5. Includes the latest social media and Internet best practices, including features like Share and Send controls, and embedded You Tube videos.
6. The website adopts current Search Engine Optimization best practices to further help extend our reach and online presence.
7. ISO Certificates, Credit Applications and MSDS documents will all be available for download, directly from the site.

Our goal was to design a user-friendly and simple site, in line with Kloeckner & Co SE’s corporate site in Duisburg that allows our visitors to quickly find information about Kloeckner Metals, and be able to contact us for material solutions. Our interactive partner, A.K.A. New Media drew on their expertise to define and execute an online strategy to ensure that this was achieved.
