August 4, 2014 - Marvel Manufacturing Co. is increasing their line of Horizontal Post Style Saws with the addition of the NC530HS. This new heavy duty, high speed metal cutting saw features a 20 in. maximum capacity on rounds and a 20 in. by 20 in. maximum capacity on rectangular. This new model is a hydraulic, horizontal post style saw and uses a bi-metal or carbide tipped blade. The blade tension is hydraulically controlled and provides consistent square cutting accuracy. The motion detector will shut the machine off should the blade break or stall. The blade is driven by a 20 H.P. motor and has automatic positioned moveable guide arms that will place itself next to the material, providing maximum support of the blade through the entire cutting operation. The combination of roller bearing and hydraulic clamping carbide blade guides with vibration dampening unit, reduce heat and blade stress providing longer blade life and accuracies of ±.002 per inch of cut material. Jobs are programmed and stored through the user-friendly touch screen control located on the operator's control panel on the right hand side of the machine. The NC530HS will be on display at IMTS on September 8-13, 2014 at our booth #N6900.
