January 5, 2015 - On January 1, 2015, Ohio Laser officially opened its newest facility for cutting and fabricating parts and assemblies. By adding 22,000 new square feet of production space on its expanding Plain City, Ohio, campus, the company is responding again to its growing customer base and the additional customer requirements that come along with it. The new facility also launches a re-alignment in Ohio Laser’s production flow, facilitating an improvement in customer capability.
The new facility immediately adds several new Trumpf Laser machines for cutting a combination of flat plate, sheet and tube, parts and assemblies. According to Gregg Simpson, Ohio Laser President and Owner, “This new facility is a direct reflection of our forecast for 2015 and beyond. More specifically, it demonstrates our commitment to being able to best respond to customer needs through an increased capacity and a more improved re-alignment of our production work flow.”
