April 1, 2015 - 4GL Solutions announced today the signing of an agreement with Sin Ghee Huat Corp. of Singapore to install their leading ERP metal center software Steel Manager III.

In addition to Steel Manager III (SM3), Sin Ghee Huat will also be installing 4GL Solutions optional modules, a MTR (Material Test Report) Automation module, Bar Coding module, and Linear Nesting module. The MTR module allows customers to scan and store electronic copies of MTRs and then have Steel Manager III (SM3) automatically attach these MTRs to invoices, packing slips, and have SM3 either fax or Email the documents to the customer automatically. It also allows instant access to any MTR should you need to access one in the future.

The Bar Coding module allows the use of bar code scanners to enter the details of inventory, orders, picking slips etc into SM3, dramatically increasing the speed in which this information is captured.

The Linear Nesting module will automatically present the long product inventory that will satisfy the order, at either the quote or sales order stage, while minimizing waste and maximizing yield.
