July 11, 2016 - Koike Aronson, Arcade, N.Y., manufacturer of metal cutting and positioning equipment, announces the K-Jet abrasive waterjet cutting system, Koike’s fastest waterjet yet. The K-Jet delivers cut speeds up to 500 ipm with standard cutting areas up to 72 in. by 144 in., and a table capacity up to 125 lbs. per sq. ft. (3 in. mild steel). Performance features include Hypertherm Hy-Precision 60,000 psi intensifier pumps, Flash-Cut CNC with built-in CAD/CAM, and Ebbco filtration systems.
The K-Jet is designed for reliable, precise cutting with fully enclosed, air pressurized bellows; hidden linear ways; accessible grease fittings; and a heavy-duty, 1/4 in. walled floor-mounted table that reduces deflection. The slats and slat supports are easily removed, and the heavy-duty 5/16 in. machined main beam and heavy-duty saddles enhance smooth movement throughout the table.
Options for the K-Jet include adjustable water height, clamping, air-over-oil hydraulic cooling, laser plate alignment, and laser height control.
