September 2, 2016 - Accuride Corp., maker of steel and aluminum wheels for commercial vehicles, completed its $14 million sale of Brillion Iron Works to a subsidiary of Metaldyne Performance Group Inc., which builds powertrain and suspension components for the light, commercial and industrial vehicle markets.
Located in Brillion, Wisconsin, the foundry specializes in the casting design and production of gray, ductile and austempered ductile iron castings for a range of industries, including light and commercial vehicles, and agricultural, construction, oil & gas and mining equipment, among others.
Accuride will focus completely on its strategy to be “the premier supplier of wheel-end system solutions to the global commercial vehicle industry,” President and CEO Rick Dauch stated.
