December 3, 2019 - The Kalamazoo Industries, Kalamazoo, Michigan, model KS690HV is a 6 by 90 in. heavy-duty, direct drive industrial belt grinder. The unit comes standard with an 8 in. by 6 in. 70 duro serrated contact wheel that has full left to right movement allowing for easy corner shaping, beveling, grinding, deburring, flat work, descaling, angle work and roughing. The high surface speed of 7200 SFPM delivers quick metal removal with minimal heat.

The KS690HV belt grinder features a 24 in. reversible steel platen, easy one-knob tracking, 7.25 in. by 4 in. adjustable work table, 5HP 3PH 220/440V motor, a 400 CFM vacuum base, and a spark chute that flips up for horizontal / vertical work.

As with all Kalamazoo Industries machines, the KS690HV 6 by 90 in. heavy-duty industrial horizontal belt grinder is made in the USA.
