July 13, 2020 - Kalamazoo Industries BG214 backstand grinder features dual 3 in. by 132 in. belt grinding heads to enable running multiple belt grits at 6300 SFPM simultaneously on a single grinding unit. The dual belt grinding heads of the BG214 nearly eliminate grinder down time, increase operator productivity, increase product output and all but eliminate Work-In-Process inventory for that aspect of the production work.
The BG214 backstand grinder also features an easy access design to the 14 in. by 3 in. 70 Duro serrated contact wheel. This allows full left to right movement for snagging, roughing, contouring, angles, and shaping. The unit comes with a vacuum attachment, a 15HP 3PH 220V or 440V motor, isolation pads, and replaceable v-belts. Options include variable speed drive and a work table, both of which must be ordered at the time of purchase.
