March 29, 2021 - Hornet Cutting Systems, Valley Center, Kansas, announced the launch of the Mini Hornet CNC Plasma Cutter, a cutting machine that delivers the same top-notch technology Hornet is known for, now in a smaller size and with a smaller price tag.

Specially designed for educational settings and smaller shops, the Mini Hornet is a high-performance CNC cutter that will maximize both financial investment and floor space. This low-maintenance machine features easy-to-use FlashCut CAD, CAM and CNC all-in-one software, a robust, fully-welded frame, linear guideways, power track cable management, a welded water pan with removal slats, integrated torch-height control, and a ball screw-driven Z-axis lifter. Premium features include a magnetic breakaway torch collision sensor, a laser pointer, and fast-change oxy-fuel capabilities with pre-heat functionality. The Mini Hornet arrives fully assembled, and training is fast and easy.
