May 6, 2021 - Eastern Metal Supply, a nation-wide value added services distributor of aluminum extrusions and sheet, is expanding with a new facility in Hammond, LA. The new location is slated to open its doors in early June, providing improved service and broad availability of aluminum inventory as we enter the season of highest demand for all aluminum products, including our hurricane protection items.

The new 80,000 square foot facility, located at 42548 Happywoods Road, will provide customers with fast access to not only standard aluminum extrusions and sheet products, but the EMS line of hurricane protecton products as well. We become an extension of our customers’ manufacturing process by also providing vendor managed inventory on their custom profiles ensuring JIT delivery. Now, customers in Louisiana and Mississippi will enjoy efficient, rapid delivery, giving them immediate access to EMS’ expansive inventory of products.

The new site will also serve as a wholesale shutter manufacturing facility, specializing in roll downs and accordions for outfittng homes and businesses with hurricane protection. Controlling all the processes from manufacturing to delivery ensures Eastern Metal Supply’s customers will receive the best products and services. Tested and approved hurricane protection systems manufactured at the Hammond location will be built with Eastern Metal Supply’s industry-leading quality components to provide contractors with products that deliver superior protection to homes and businesses.
